ရန်ကုန်မြို့ရှိသုဿန်တစ်ခုဖြစ်သည့်ရေဝေးသုဿန်တွင်ယခုလတ်တေလာတွင်နာရေးများစုပြုံလျက်ရှိနေပြီးရုပ်လောင်းတစ်ဦးလျှင်အချိန်အနည်းငယ်ဖြင့်သာမီးရှို့သဂြိုလ်မှုပြုလုပ်နေရသည်။
ကိုဗစ်တတိလှိုင်းစတင်သည့်အချိန်တွင်ကူးစက်သူအများအပြားရှိလာခဲ့ပြီးကောင်းစွာဆေးကုသမှုမရရှိခြင်း၊အောက်ဆီဂျင်ပြတ်လပ်ခြင်းများကြောင့်သေဆုံးသူအများအပြားရှိလာခဲ့သည်။ရန်ကုန်တွင်ရှိသည့်သုဿန်များတွင်တွင်လူရုပ်လောင်းအများအပြားကိုနေ့စဥ်သဂြိုလ်ပေးနေရခြင်းဖြစ်သည်။
“ဒီနေ့(ဇူလိုင်လ၁၄)တစ်နေ့ထဲမနက်ပိုင်းတင်ကို၈၀လောက်ရေဝေးသုဿန်မှာသဂြိုလ်ရတယ်။ကျနော်တို့အခြေစိုက်တဲ့မြို့နယ်မှာကို၁၀ဦးထက်မနည်းရှိနေတယ်။အခုသေတဲ့သူတော်တော်များများကအသက်ရှူရပ်တဲ့သူတွေဆိုတော့ချက်ချင်းသဂြိုလ်ရတာများတယ်”ဟုရန်ကုန်အခြေစိုက်လူမှုကူညီမှုအသင်းကဆိုသည်။
ရန်ကုန်မြို့တွင်ကိုဗစ်ကူးစက်လူနာအများအပြားရှိလာခဲ့ပြီးအောက်ဆီဂျင်လိုအပ်ချက်သည်လည်းတနေ့တခြားတိုးပွားလျက်ရှိကာသေဆုံးသူလည်းနေ့စဥ်အရေအတွက်များပြားလာသည်။

Crowded Funerals Scene at Yay Way Cemetery

Yangon’s Yay Way cemetery has been flooded with funerals these days and a single funeral only takes a little time for cremation. Due to a high number of infections since the COVID-19 third wave, death rates have been increasing due to lack of proper treatment and oxygen shortage. Many dead bodies are being buried via cremation every single day at cemeteries in Yangon.
“On this morning (July 14) alone, about 80 were buried at Yay Way cemetery. There were more than 10 bodies from our township alone. As most of the deceased these days are from suffocating, they need to be buried immediately,” said a Yangon-based social relief organization.
So many have been infected in Yangon and oxygen requirement is also increasing, and death tolls are rising on a daily basis.
In addition to COVID-19 protection challenges, oxygen problems and price rises, the public is also facing difficulties on the last journey of the deceased.
