An official of the Natmauk Garuda PDF said that the SAC column was attacked by 11 mines in Natmauk Township, and about 20 people were killed and many were injured.
“Today, at 7:30 a.m. of August 10th, a column of more than 30 troops of the SAC would patrol to Phattaw Ray village in Natmauk Township, and we got this news so that the attack was carried out with a minefield,” an official of the Natmauk Garuda PDF said.
“The infantry column that came now is patrolling in the eastern side of Natmauk. There are about 35 soldiers. They entered the mine field at the intersection south of Phattaw Ray village ” he said.
“During the attack, 4 forward mines and 7 destructive mines were used, and about 20 soldiers were killed and more than 10 were injured,” the official said.
“When their column returned to the village, it was known that there were only 8 soldiers. When they attacked in the minefield, there were many casualties. The 8 soldiers who returned to the village were also injured,” he said.
Regarding today’s attack, it is reported that the SAC military has not attacked and patrolled with a column near Phattaw Ray village in Natmauk township until now.
