Her two sons are only youths aged 20. Those were injured. It is said to be a weapon fired by the military. It was just dark, so we don’t know where the shot came from,” she explained.
In the telegram channels of supporters of the military coup, they write that this incident was caused by the heavy weapons fired by the resistance forces.
“There is no such shot from our side. They (junta supporters) are intentionally talking to misunderstand people. The military gates and camps are attacked by resistance forces now and then, so they (military) are randomly firing heavy weapons with fear. I heard a weapon of theirs fell inside Kyeikpu village at night this day, injuring a civilian,” a comrade of the resistance force said.
Similarly, a weapon fired by the military fell inside Seikgyi village in Kyaukgyi Township at around 6:00 p.m. on March 17, injuring people, according to a comrade from the special commando, Roma column 2.
