It is reported that three SAC soldiers were killed and seven wounded in an encounter between the Army and the Joint Revolutionary Forces in Bilin Township, Mon State.
While KNLA, KNDO, PDF joint forces were working to control the area between Ahlu Lay and Tha Pyay Ni villages, Bilin Township on September 4th, around 8:00 am, and the clash took place with the hiding patrol force of around 30 soldiers.
“Yesterday at 8 o’clock, there was an encounter on the side of the road. Three from our side of the revolutionary force were killed. They were KNDO soldiers. Weapons were also taken. I heard that three soldiers were killed and seven wounded on the enemy side. They were hiding in an ambush with about 30 forces. We were shot from ambush,” said Comrade Aye Min Tun, who is in charge of Thaton District Brigade (1) People’s Defense Force.
The battle lasted for about half an hour and three KNDO soldiers were killed and three guns were lost.
After the battle, the SAC soldiers retreated from the battle site.
