SAC Prepares to Open First Year Class and Others Classes
By MPA
The terrorist military is preparing to reopen universities in coming November and December.
The terrorist SAC is reportedly in the process of preparing to reopen first year classes for those who have already passed the matriculation and efforts are also being made to reopen other classes, according to currently serving university professors’ community.
“We’re resuming meetings on new curricula. Next, there are renovations for school buildings. We’ve been told to rewrite the curricula. As there are position promotions, it’s likely to reopen soon”, said a professor from a university.
Even though the terrorist military tried to reopen schools in August, it had to be postponed due to COVID conditions and it is planned to reopen in October, said one resource who wishes to remain anonymous to MPA.
“The letter had been issued to reopen in August. It was also said it would be postponed two months due to COVID. But nothing has been heard so far,” the person said.
Exams were held for university fourth year students and post-graduate classes in May, after six weeks of opening and pass lists were issued in August. Even though schools were opened, there were only a few students as most students joined CDM by not going to schools.
Even though there are preparations for reopening classes in November and December, including for fresh high school graduates, no comment about it was received when the Department of Higher Education was contacted.
Regarding reopening universities, “We have no plan to attend. There won’t be our friends and teachers anymore even if I would go. Even the final year students sacrificed a lot, we have no plan to go,” said a current first year university student.
In Myanmar, since the terrorist military coup on February 1st, education personnel, teachers, have joined CDM and are resisting the military dictator showing they are against him.
At the moment, the terrorist military is committing murders across the country and among the killed are school teachers and students as well.
According to the Amnesty Association for Political Prisoners (AAPP), the military has killed over 1100 innocent civilians and arrested over 8400 as of September 30.
