On Jan. 21, around 10:00 p.m., the military bombed using air strike Sawntaung village in Mindat, Chin State, and some people were hit and injured, according to Mindat Township People’s Administration.
” A jet fighter dropped two bombs on residential houses near Sawntaung village without a fight, and the houses were damaged,” the information team of Mindat Township People’s Administration said.
Locals said that two bombs were dropped so that some buildings were also damaged, and a man and a woman were not seriously injured.
It is also known that there were a few injured as the SAC troops fired five heavy weapon shots in a row at Vawmmu’tu village from Mindat town this morning.
Mindat Township People’s Administration, the information team said that the nearby local villagers have fled due to the military’s aerial bombardment as well as heavy weapons fire.
