Clashes broke out on July 4 in Phekon City, between the border of Shan State and Karenni State, between troops of the Terrorist SAC and the Karenni Joint Forces, about 40 SAC troops were killed and 11 KNDF members have fallen in the battle, according to the KNDF.
At 5 A.M. on July 4, the Karenni Joint Forces attacked the Loi Pata camp near Shwe Pyay Aye, a terrorist SAC camp near Kone Son and Loi Pata villages in Pekhon Township, as the camp was about to be seized, the KNDF members retreated due to less-armed situation sit as the terrorist SAC troops fired heavy artillery shells continuously and they had casualties.
The KNDF has claimed that about 40 members of the terrorist SAC were killed in the clashes, but no statement has been issued by the terrorist SAC. A KNDF troop said he was “deeply saddened” by the KNDF troops who had fallen during the battle for camp seized.
“I’m really sorry. It does not end with grief. Even if 110,000 military dogs (troops of SAC) die, it is not worth it for one person of ours to die. We will ask for blood debt for this. We will fight to the end. We must have more courage. We did not give up. The reason for this fight is for a free and fair federal democracy,” said a KNDF member.
He added that he was proud of his comrades who died fighting against the terrorist SAC and would take back the blood owed for them. “I am proud of them as martyrs because they fell their blood in that battle. Even if they do not see the goal they want, we will continue to fight to the end for the benefit of our new generation.”, he said.
In addition, he added that the KNDF joint forces troops need ammunition to repel the terrorist SAC troops. He added that the current car was damaged and he wanted the public to help as much as they could. The terrorist SAC’s propaganda on social media about the battle for the Loi Pata camp just reported that a few Karenni members had been killed, but did not mention the deaths of more than 40 soldiers of the terrorist SAC.
