Around 3,000 People are reportedly fleeing in urgent as the junta troops are patrolling and attacking the southern part of Myaing Township and near Kamma town in Magway Region.
The 150-strong military column _ at Twinma village of Pyu Saw Htee, in southern Myaing Township _ patrolled toward Tharsi village, dividing 2 columns in the morning of March 22, according to local displaced people.
Therefore, the people who had fled from war _ in the villages of Tharsi, Namsi Kan, and Twinma _ have reportedly fled to the nearby forests again.
“When the columns patrolled before, we did not flee to the forests on this side. Now, the column is divided into 2 columns, one from the east and one from the west, so we all have to flee,” said a displaced person.
In addition, there is a military convoy _ coming from Kamma town _ between Twinma village of Pyu Saw Htee militia and Kamma town in Pakokku Township, so people _ from Inbat and Magyitan villages near Kamma town _ have also fled.
“Nearly 300 junta troops are near Kama and on Pauk – Pakokku Road. The column also has rations. Now they are attacking and patrolling around the west of Kamma, so the nearby villages are also fleeing,” said comrade Ah Ko Lay, in charge of Myaing PDF Battalion-1, Division-2 (Garuda Guerrilla Force).
People from the villages of Kyo Pyan, Yankin, and Pagan Myaw in the west of the Kamma town are reportedly fleeing.
The 400-strong column is patrolling around Myaing Township and Kamma Town, so people from 7 villages have currently fled.
“The column is with ration convoys. The column that is now reaching Twinma village of Pyu Saw Htee has 4 military ration vehicles. The column may reinforce from Kamma town again. I heard the column patrolling the west of Kamma is known to reinforce military rations,” he added.
The junta column that came out of Twinma village of Pyu Saw Htee was deployed at Tharsi village at around 1:00 pm on March 22.
