“The SAC military troops who impersonated as revolutionary comrades arrested and killed about 20 local people of Nyaungpintha village in Nyaunglebin Districit, Bago Region,” it is investigated from local residents.
“The military troops came by wearing the uniform of the People’s Defense Forces and said the villagers that we have come to help you, and took them away. My mother and my neighbors were included, and my wife was holding me, so I didn’t go to them, so I was sneaking out of the house. About 20 people were arrested and taken,” said a person who lost his mother.
A surviving family member said that the death bodies of most of the arrested people were found in different places.
“He went to buy rice and missed since the afternoon of May 14th. Two days later, his death body was found near graveyard, with torture injuries. Some of the bodies were burned,” a family member of the survivor told MPA.

“As soon as the military troops entered the village, we were fleeing. They told us not to be afraid them and do nothing if we encountered them. They took us to the outskirts of the village, and then they put a group of women and children and a group of men, then covered their faces with clothes, and burned them to death,” said the survivor.

Their jackets and pants are people’s revolutionary uniforms, but the guns are military council equipment. We noticed it when we went to see the death bodies of the military troops killed in the battle,” said a revolutionary comrade.
