“A 6-day battle between the military troops which entered the Singu area with a force of more than 200 from Kyauk Myaung township, Shwebo District, and the Local Defense Forces, took place and 11 people, including 2 Captains from the SAC Military troops, were killed and many were injured,” said by the Lieutenant Eagle Force (Pyin Oo Lwin District Pa-Ka-Fa).
“The battle started on May 4th and ended on May 10th, and within 6 days, the battles took place 10 times, and the remote control mine- attack and cornered clashes were also happened,” he explained.
“We were able to confirm the dogs’(soldiers’) death list because of the comrades watching on ground and due to we received the equipment used by the captains when we cleared the area. 3 comrades and one of our force and 1 of joined force were injured. But there is no need to worry,” Comrade Zero-One of Lieutenant Eagle Force (Bo Lin Yun Force) told MPA.
The 200-strong of the SAC military troops patrolling, had burned down the houses of 12 villages along the Irrawaddy River, including Shwe Kyin, In Zaukgyi, Chaung Thalae, Ka Bok, Kut Taek, Than Phong, Shwe Togyi, Taung Po Re, Tharak Kone, Uy Phan, Kyay Pyone, and Ma-U of Khin-U township and Singu township, and so, thousands of local residents are fleeing.
It is known that many houses of Ka Bok village on the west bank of the river, were burned down. The people are fleeing and hiding in the forest for safety. The people were also arrested as hostages by the war dogs (soldiers).
This military troops were attacked by joined forces of Lieutenant Eagle Force (Bo Lin Yun Force- Pyin Oo Lwin District Pa-Ka-Fa), Lieutenant Swallow-Bird Force (Bo Zin Yaw Force), Nine PDF forces, Northern Tigers Group and the revolutionary forces in Khin Oo Township.
