It is reported that the KNLA and PDF joint forces bombed by a drone on the police station in Kinmunchaung area, Kyaik Hto Township, Mon State, and the police station was destroyed by fire.
Kyaikhto Revolution Force-KRF announced today that 2 bombs were dropped at 4:23 PM, 3 bombs at 4:25 PM, 3 bombs at 5:9 PM, and 2 bombs at 5:10 PM on April 27.
“Since we started dropping bombs, the camp is already on fire. They fired a few shots back. Since the mission was done from a distance, we couldn’t see for sure. We can’t confirm whether the people in the camp were hit or not, but we can confirm that
the camp was on fire. I heard that the fire engine came,” said a KRF official.
KIT which reports local revolution news published that a bomb dropped by a drone exploded inside the police station, and most of the buildings in the station were set on fire.
After the police station was destroyed by fire, the military troops opened fire with heavy and small arms until past 6:00 p.m.
The attack was carried out by the Joint Forces of Kyaikhto Revolution Force, KNLA, PDF, PPDF-KD, TPDF, Bilin (Pakafa) and Kyaikhto (Pakafa), and the revolutionary comrades were able to retreat without any injuries.
KIT said that the Kinmunchaung Police Station is located at the foot of Kyaik Htee Yoe Mountain and is frequently attacked by the People’s Defense Forces.
On April 25th, the KRF, KNLA and Allied forces attacked the Muppalin checkpoint in Kyaikhto Township, and 3 soldiers were killed.
