It has been investigated that the military troops are patrolling daily in the villages around Pazigyi village in Kanbalu township in Sagaing Region, and are also continuing to aircraft and shootings.
A local said that around at around 8 a.m. in the morning today, about 60 forces of the Military Council, which was in the east of Pazilay in Kanbalu township, has entered to patrol to the west of Pazilay as far as Thayet Chaung, and on the other side, about 150 forces of the Military Council were heading towards the south at Impin Pheang Monastery.
“Yesterday, about 150 forces of the SAC military were at Impin Pheang Monastery at north of Myay Mon. They are going forward south this morning. Yesterday, I heard that two places were firing each other. The villages have to hide and flee completely. On the side of Nyang Zin, I heard that a Pyusawhti was killed by a mine. It is unknown the other damage,” a local villager confirmed to MPA today.
“On April 24, at past 11:30 p.m., the military council attacked with airstrike by a jet fighter in Kanbalu township,” a PDF comrade from Kanbalu township also told the situation in the area.
“They dropped 2 bombs between Zin and Pekone and near Tower Hill to the southeast of Zin hill. But there was no damage. On our side, we attacked a SAC camp stationed nearby. They got the information so they dropped,” a comrade said.
“In the past few days, there was an exchange shooting between the SAC military troops stationed in Zin village, Chapgyi village and Chapthin village in the north of Kanbalu township, and the revolutionary forces, and when the military troops left from there, about 85 houses in the village were burned down,” a local villager said.
Last April 11, due to the aerial attack on Pazigyi village, 174 people including the women, children and elderly, were killed. After that, the military troops are patrolling into two columns and fired with airstrike.
About 5,000 residents from nearby villages such as Pazigyi village, Chaung Thar village, Laytwin Sin village, Mel Zataw village and Ywa Thayar village are reportedly fleeing from the war.
