A Palaw PDF Allied troop, Comrade Nay La, was fallen and four others were injured in the four-day battle in Palaw Township Tanintharyi Region, according to the Palaw People’s Defense Force – PPDF company commander.
During the battle, the terrorist SAC troops fired a lot of heavy artillery shells and used full force reconnaissance aircraft. Fighting broke out between the terrorist SAC troops and the Palaw People’s Defense Force coalition forces in Nantaung and Mankyigone Villages in Palaw Township, lasting four days.
The company commander of the PPDF said the terrorist SAC troops withdrew and ended on June 30. “Like as they ended the fighting three days later, they retreated and attacked Hmaw Mi again. The victim was Comrade Nay La of the KPDF, which is a force of Karen and local people, who died proudly during the battle, according to a leader of the Palaw Regional Defense Force – PRDF.
