The junta’s Air Force bombed Pekhon Town at around 10:30 p.m. on April 11, on the border of Shan State and Karenni State, without any battle, killing three residents, including a 4-year-old child, according to reports on the ground.
A 4-year-old boy and a 60-year-old woman died on the spot and three others were injured when the junta’s Air Force dropped a 500-pound bomb with a jet fighter, according to a local man who witnessed it.
“Two have gone. The remaining three were taken to the hospital. The doctor himself came and carried them away. The injuries were serious, and blood was coming out,” he explained.
As a result of the bombardment, three public houses were destroyed, and a 12-year-old girl among the three who were being treated at the hospital died again.
“Our house has been destroyed. It is completely priceless. Our ancestors lived here in succession. It is not a place where any armed forces live,” said a homeowner whose house was bombed.
Currently, the two injured people are receiving medical treatment in a hospital, and their health status is still unknown.
