“On the evening of the 14th, they arrived at Ah Phwe Sat Gate with a large force of three vehicles. On the morning of the 15th, they started marching to attack. It might be about 200 forces of soldiers and Pyu Saw Htee (militias under SAC) in total. They (SAC Air) are providing weaponry support in the morning with the Mi35 helicopter. They (SAC Army) are also providing heavy weapon support from the town. Shells are fallen in the west of Tharsi Village, Chin Sai and Ye U,” a resident of Southern Kalay told MPA.

“The current situation is likely that chemicals that are lighter than oxygen are used. There are signs that some of the nearby people start breathing and immediately lost consciousness. Chemical weapons are possibly used in the 120mm mortar heavy weapons. There are also suspicious materials that are used to burn quickly in their arson,” said a local resident from the Southern Kalay.
The explosion, which is believed to be a chemical weapon, produced black smoke and smelled fetid and rank. Those who inhaled the fumes had symptoms of sore throat, high temperature, drop in blood pressure, tingling in the fingertips and toes, body fatigue and difficulty breathing, and the symptoms of unconsciousness, (Daw) Radi Ohm of the Mobile Medical Team West Division, which is providing medical treatment during the fighting in Southern Kalay, wrote on her social network page.
