It is reported that many villagers are still fleeing from Kyauk Pyin Thar Village, Kawlin Township, which was bombed for no reason without the fighting taking place.
According to a resident of the village, the SAC military bombarded the village around 3:00 AM on Jan. 19, causing the villagers to flee to safety. There are many villagers who have not dared to return to the village until tonight.
“There are villagers who have not yet returned to the village, and there are people who have returned. Rather than running away, they dare not return to the village,” said a local near Kyauk Pyin Thar village.
The SAC military dropped two bombs on Kyauk Pyin Thar village with an aircraft and opened fire with machine guns, destroying the religious community hall of the Ywa Oo monastery.
