“In the second week of January, five local people in Gangaw District donated two pairs of earrings, a necklace, a bracelet and a gold hairpin,” said an in charge of news and information of the TYF force.
“The donation day was in the second week of this month. They gave and donated their valuables to help the revolution. Among those who donated, there were villages that had been passed by the Military column and villages that had not been passed. The value of the gold jewelries was over 10,000,000, kyats” he said.
He further said that the gold jewelry donation is the third time in Gangaw District, and the gold jewelry donated by the people will be sold and used effectively for the revolution.
“This is the third time that they have donated gold like this. In 2022, two months ago, a CDM high school teacher took off her necklace and donated it for the revolution for the first time. Those who donate like this are offering their valuable properties to strengthen the revolution in order to quickly annihilate the SAC,” he continued to said.
“The local people who donated gold jewelries also said that all the comrades of No.13 Battalion of the Youth Force (Saw&Kyaukhtu) based in Gangaw District should take care of their health and live safely,” is reported.
