In Indaw Township, Sagaing Region, troops of (Light Infantry Battalion) LIB – 309, who were sent as reinforcement to the Mae Zar police station, abducted 15 people from Indaw Township on July 12 and they have not returned home, according to locals.
The terrorist SAC troops entered Indaw City on July 12 with about 100, fifteen pedestrians between the ages of 18 and 60 were arrested in Ku Seik, Kyaw village, Nar Kha, Kyan Taw and Nar Naung villages in in Indaw Township, they were told to wear military uniforms and carry the troops’ luggage and take them to Thanbo village, according to a local source.
“They were arrested yesterday. They have not been released yet. The arrested villagers were told by the military dogs (terrorist SAC troops) that they would kill you if they ran away. They are still in Thanbo village until this morning.”, a troop from the Indaw Revolutionary – IR said.
According to eyewitnesses, the arrested villagers were crying because they had to wear military uniforms, according to the Indaw Revolution.
It is reported that the terrorist SAC troops destroyed houses in Ale Seik village in Indaw Township at around 8 am today and set fire to two houses.
“The villagers of Alal Seik have been locking their houses since yesterday and have fled to nearby villages. This morning, the military dogs broke into the village and broke the locks. They are also destroying the belongings of the villagers’ houses. There is a family in the village who did not run away. They also arrested the family. Two houses of the villagers were also set on fire. That’s all we know at the moment.”, an IR troop said.
