Yangon Region, Ahlone Township, Sky Way Club fire caused no casualties, the fire was breaking out more because they put out the fire secretly by themselves, a civilian aid worker said on condition of anonymity.
The above Sky Way Club is opened at the corner of the Kannar Street and Ahlone Road, Ahlone Township, Yangon Region, the fire broke out at 9:40 PM last night and there is a private petrol station across the street, the person from the civil society group said.
“In fact, it wouldn’t happen if they said since the fire started. They put it out by themselves. The KTV started the fire. They called the fire station when the fire was gradually burning. It is Level-2 Fire.”, a civilian aid worker said on condition of anonymity.
The Myanmar Fire Services Department did not officially identify the Sky Way Club, but only the corner of Ahlone Road, according to a local resident who spoke on condition of anonymity.
In addition, although the Myanmar Fire Services Department announced that the Sky Way Club that caught fire last night was extinguished at 11:00 PM, the fire was only extinguished at around 12:00 PM actually, a local resident who spoke on condition of anonymity said.
“They only said they could put out the fire at 11:00 Pm, actually the situation was very bad last night. There was a gas station in front of that, so they sprayed water across the road line and put fire out. When the wind is not calm, it will turn to ashes when it touches the gas station. The fire was extinguished at about 12:00 PM. I heard it is an arson.”, a local resident who spoke on condition of anonymity said.
Currently, the Myanmar Fire Services Department did not disclose the cost of the fire or the cause of the Sky Way Club, it is known that the club has been linked to a series of bombings in recent months over its involvement with the terrorist SAC.
