It is reported that at least 15 people, including a captain of the Military, were killed in two consecutive battles in one day in Pulaw Township, Tanintharyi Region.
“On March 13th, at around 6:00 p.m., the SAC Military troops came to the village of Kabyar village in Pulaw Township and started shooting with the Pulaw PDF troops in the village,” a comrade of the local defense force said.
“On the evening of the 13th March, war dogs (soldiers of the Military) came to surround. At that time, they clashed and shot back. A PDF fell and had to retreat,” he said.
“After that, reinforcements went to carry the death body of a PDF near Lepanpyin village, and there was another firefight with the military troops. Two PDF comrades, a local PAKAFA and a local resident were hit by bullets,” said a comrade from Division 3 of Pulaw PDF.
“When we were carrying the death bodies back from Kabyar village, we, our rear force, with Military again in Lepanpyin village. When the dogs (soldiers of the Military) shot, we lost four more. They lost a captain. In the second round, they lost at least 15, because we shot them in advance,” he said.
The MPA could not accurately confirm the death of the soldiers yet.
