It is well known that on July 27, a group of people went and made unruliness to the homes of the family members of U Jimmy and U Phyo Zayar Thaw, who were sentenced to death by the terrorist SAC.
On July 25, the terrorist SAC announced that four political prisoners, including U Jimmy and U Phyo Zayar Thaw, had been sentenced to death without notifying their family members.
At a press conference held on July 26, after General Zaw Min Tun, the head of the press release of the SAC, said that such executions are for the sake of justice, the gang thuggery broke out on July 27.
A group of around 50 people arrived in light trucks and Dyna cars at the apartment of U Phyo Zayar Thaw’s parents on Bo Aung Kyaw Road in the centre of Yangon and to the homes of U Jimmy’s family members in Insein Township, Video files of the thug throwing slingshots, sticks, knives, stones and shouting and swearing were also circulated on the Internet.
In a video posted on social networking sites, including pro-terrorist military sites, a gang of thugs can be seen shouting threats and swearing, “Are your son the martyr?”, “We will kill the whole relatives of yours, so many people have died because of your children.”.
U Phyo Zayar Thaw’s wife, Ma Tha Zin Nyunt Aung, is very worried about their parents and has also asked the people of the neighbour-hood to help them, and the media also described her request.
It is also believed that the execution of four political activists, including U Jimmy and U Phyo Zayar Thaw, was carried out with the intention of propagandizing that there was justice for those who actually died because of them.
The terrorist SAC did not allow family members to view the bodies of those they executed and did not return them.
Maj. Gen. Zaw Min Tun, who is also the spokesman for the terrorist SAC, said that it was the decision of the prison authorities not to release the bodies.
U Jimmy’s wife Ma Nilar Thein and U Phyo Zayar Thaw’s wife Ma Thazin Nyunt Aung also said through their social networks that they will not take almsgiving (one kind of almsgivings that people offer a meal to one or more monks within a week of a person’s death), share merit (people share merits to all being to get their merit), or make the occasion of their death until the bodies are found.
On July 29th, in front of the Yangon City Hall, a few hundred people including ex-soldiers, members of the Union Solidarity and Development Party (USDP), and Ma-Ba-Tha (members of Patriotic Association of Myanmar) led by an ex-soldier known as Bullet Hla Swe, staged a demonstration in support of the death penalty and the military.
The photos also show posters showing allegations by the terrorist military that four political prisoners including U Jimmy and U Phyo Zayar Thaw who were sentenced to death at the protest were committed.
Although U Jimmy and U Phyo Zayar Thaw were arrested on January 21 and charged with terrorism charges, they were sentenced to death, Legal scholars point out that they were not given the right to defend themselves in accordance with the law, but the military court conducted a summary trial and made unilateral decisions.
A veteran politician in Yangon said that among those who were sentenced to death and executed by hanging, the tradition came from former dictator General U Ne Win, who killed the hanged person without giving them the right to defend themselves according to the law.
It is also said that Captain Ohn Kyaw Myint and student leader Salai Tin Maung Oo are prominent.
“The reason why Captain Ohn Kyaw Myint was hanged was that the plan to kill U Ne Win was a state conspiracy. Now U Jimmy U Phyo Zayar Thaw and others are doing this under the pretext that they committed violent acts with weapons. Now it’s more brutal,” the veteran politician said.
Many people who saw it commented that the gang of people who came to the homes of U Jimmy and U Phyo Zayar Thaw and committed violence were Swan Ah Shin (Like thuggish guys) and people from the Patriotic Association of Myanmar (Ma-Ba-Tha).
There are also reviews that the use of Ma-Ba-Thas, then U Jimmy and U Phyo Zayar Thaw’s family homes to disturbance is a response to domestic and international criticism and international pressure regarding the death penalty.
The United Nations Security Council, which includes ASEAN countries, China and Russia, the G7 Foreign Ministers, Australia, the United States, and the United Kingdom, have condemned the death penalty against democratic activists.
The people who formed three groups with the names of the Ma-Ba-Tha (members of Patriotic Association of Myanmar), Swan Ah Shin (Thuggish Guys), Pyu Saw Htee(Militias) and Thway Thaut(Militias), are one and the same, and many news outlets have also written that these groups are the ex-soldiers, USDP members and thugs who are backed by the terrorist military.
There are many examples of those groups attacking and killing people who are democratic political activists, anti-military activists, monks, and students.
In Sagaing Region, where the fighting is going on and the terrorist military is killing and burning the residents and villages, there are groups of militiamen known as Pyu Saw Htee are organized by Ma-Ba-Tha monks who go to the villages themselves.
In Kantbalu, Kyun Hla and Tan Se Townships in Sagaing Region, Ma-Ba-Tha Sayadaw U Vāsava led the formation of militia groups known as Pyu Saw Htee.
About 6 villages in Kyun Hla Township, more than 20 villages in Kant Ba Lu Township, and 6 villages in Tan Se Township have been formed.
It is also said to suppress the People’s Defense Forces (PDF) and the Local Defense Forces (LDF) who are fighting armed resistance against the terrorist Military.
The Ma-Ba-Tha group was dissolved in 2018 under the NLD government, but it has been revived under the name ‘Buddha Dhamma Para-Hi-Ta Foundation (Central)’.
In June 2019, at the annual conference of the Buddha Dhamma Para-Hi-Ta Foundation (Central), the Yangon Regional Military Headquarters donated 30,000,000 kyats(Thirty Million kyats).
Ma-Ba-Tha, the stooge of the terrorist military, emerged one year after religious and ethnic conflicts broke out in Rakhine State in 2012.
A number of Ma-Ba-Tha monks had also been criticized for containing anti-Muslim hate speech in their sermons.
At military support events, it is found that some Ma-Ba-Thas are marching holding Sharpen bamboo and hard-solid bamboo sticks.
At a press conference held on July 26, Major General Zaw Min Tun said that there is currently no Pyu Saw Htee in history.
On March 5th, 2021, the Pyu Saw Htee Group (Center) announced that the Pyu Saw Htee Group had been secretly formed in Mandalay, and on May 15th, it was announced that the Pyu Saw Htee Group included military veterans and Ma-Ba-Thas.
The logo of Pyu Saw Htee also uses a religious flag, and the word ‘Race’, ‘Religion’, ‘Sāsana (Teaching of Buddha)’ is also written on the flag.
Pyu Saw Htee’s tasks include investigating the news of opponents of the military dictator, including the NLD, protecting those accused of Dalan from social punishment, and providing assistance to the families of military veterans, it is also known that there are threats to publish letters and killings.
In the earlier days, the so-called ‘Swan Ah Shin’, Stooges of the terrorist military, wearing red armbands, physically assaulted people protesting against the military dictatorship, and committed violence against democracy activists.
And now, there is a possibility that illegal acts of violence will continue to be committed against the people, so the people must be cautious of them.
Those Swan Ah Shin, Pyu Saw Htee, and Ma-Ba-Thas, are the stooges of the arbitrary coup terrorist military, I would like to say that those people are red-level dangerous people for the people and should not be in Myanmar.
