The Captain Kyaw Thet, the commander of the White Tiger Column, requested to the public not to travel between Kyondo and Myawadi Township for any reason as the fighting may intensify since today.
At 4:30 this morning, the KNLA joint forces attacked military gates of the SAC in Kyondo Township and Myawadi Township in Karen State, and the fighting is fierce.
“It can be said that the fighting is still going on. We will have to publish everything. The situation is currently favorable. That’s all we have to say. We requested not to pass, since today until we publish it again,” said a person close to the Tiger White Column.
A resident of Kyondo Township said that the local residents are fleeing due to the ongoing fighting between the SAC Military and the KNLA joint forces in Kyondo Township, Karen State.
“Since around 11:00 a.m., the people of Kyondo town have been fleeing to safety. 1 civilian was killed due to an aerial bombardment by the SAC military. The patients and their family members in the hospital are still trapped without eating anything. There is a lot of damage. The locals of Nyang Yeitthar village are also fleeing. I heard there are also dead people,” said a resident of Kyondo Township.
After fighting started in Myawadi at 4:30 a.m. in this morning, KNLA-led joint forces are attacking some of the military camps of the SAC in Kyondo town in Kawkareik township and Kyainseikgyi township.
