The Pulaw Public Defense Force said that more than 200 strengths of the SAC Military troops raided and recontroled Kade village where were controlled by PDFs in Pulaw Township, Tanintharyi Region.
A PDF comrade of the Pulaw People’s Defense Force said that on February 15th at about 8:30 p.m., more than 200 strengths of the Military had raided and attacked the PDF camp stationed at the monastery of Kade village in Pulaw Township.
“On the night of the 15th, more than 200 forces had invaded the village. They attacked by tiger attack. Then, the battle lasted for about 15 minutes. We had to retreat because their forces were too strong,” he said.
During the battle of Kade, at least 8 soldiers of the SAC Military were killed, and the Pulaw PDF troops were able to retreated without being harmed.
“They shot down the dogs (soldiers of the SAC) that attacked by tigers’ attack. About 8 or 10 soldiers were killed. But due to the force of the Military was more than 200, we had to retreat because we couldn’t resist. We were left with 3 hand-made guns, communication equipment and our uniforms. Yesterday morning, when we brushed our teeth, we couldn’t enter Kade. We only reached the edge of the grave,” he continued.
MPA investigated that on February 16, in the afternoon, the Military stationed in Kade village had fired at least 10 times with a 40mm gun at the top of Kade village, where there were no PDFs.
