“The joint resistance forces attacked with shock missiles the Division 101 in Pakokku township of Magway Region at about 9:00 p.m. on November 30, killing at least four junta troops,” according to Burma Revolution Rangers.
“Missiles exploded on the armory of Battalion 252 next to the Pakokku Division 101,” the in charge of the Burma Revolution Rangers, Ko Cartoon said.
“We firstly thought we would shoot four, five or six missiles, but those that came with us were not very reliable, so we only fired two missiles. The junta shot back with 80 mm weapons. We confirmed that the junta troops were killed. We hear from people close to the military junta that four troops were killed,” he said.
“Due to this shock missile attack, the military junta forced people of Lepakam village to flee overnight and then ambushed at Anaek Chauk Kan village in the north of Lepakam village,” a resident said.
The junta spread propaganda that PDFs had arrived in the north of Lepakam, so they would shoot back PDFs, and forced locals to flee, a nearby resident said.
The military operation was jointly carried out by Burma Revolution Rangers, Royal Defense Force-Myaing, Myaing Township’s Sanaymin Guerrilla Force and Chauk Guerrilla Force, and the resistance forces could retreat without any harm.
