It was investigated that four people were killed by the SAC in a raid in Kyeekan (North) Village, Wetlet Township, Sagaing Region, and one woman of the dead was stripped of her clothes (under the state of being raped and killed).
The deceased were three men and one woman, and the bodies were found at 8:00 a.m. on August 27th when the joint revolutionary forces cleared the area after the military column left.
According to an official of the local defense force in Wetlet Township, six people from the Kyeekan North Village Monastery were arrested by the SAC troops on August 26, and the throats of four people among them were cut and killed.
“They were arrested from the monastery and so we thought they were not killed enough. At night, they (SAC’s lobby channels) said they found them with weapons. We knew they had been killed when we saw the bodies. The people who were killed were a father and his son, and two people. When we found the bodies, the woman was not wearing any clothes in her lower part. We saw them in this way. We knew they had been killed since the night before, but when the military column arrived in Pin Zin village, we found the bodies when we cleared the area.”, an official from the local defense force said.
An official of the Wetlet Information Network said that a woman in her 20s who was raped with a cut-throat wound and three men in their 50s who were killed with a cut-throat wound were seen in a mango farm between Kyeekan (North) Village and Hlataw Village.
“On the 25th, they (SAC troops) were stationed from Sagaing Township to Ywathargyi Village, Wetlet Township. From there, they entered Kyeekan North Village. The deceased did not run away, and were stuck in the monastery and were caught,” said the official of the Wetlet Information Network.
He also said that a woman of the four people killed in Kyeekan North village had been raped and a bottle (Royal D Electrolyte Drink) had been placed inside her.
It is also reported that the SAC troops that raided Kyeekan North village took more than fifty million kyats (MMK 50,000,000) from one civilian and a gold chain from another civilian.
An official of the local defense force said that after notifying the family members of the four people killed by the SAC troops, they were buried today (August 27).
It is also reported that the SAC troops left Kyeekan North village early today and raided Pinzin village by firing with heavy and small arms and returned to Wetlet Town.
As the SAC forces raided the villages in the western part of Wetlet Township in the early morning of August 26, more than 15,000 local residents had to flee and six local residents who were unable to escape were arrested and four were killed.
There are also reports on the SAC propaganda Telegram channels that those arrested are PDFs.
