It is reported that the SAC military troops had raided Padaukpin village, Kanbalu township, Sagaing Region, and then a man was brutally killed.
A total of more than 100 soldiers and Pyusawhti (SAC militias) violently entered Padaukpin village at 7:00 a.m. on June 10, and killed a man, and then abducted a middle-aged man as a guide from Pẹnthagyi village at about 8:30 a.m.
“I only know that he was killed by the column. I don’t know exactly because I can’t connect the phone line again. It is not yet known whether the person who was taken as a guide has been released,” said an official from the Kyunhla township’s activist group.
“This column set on fire Boetaekone village in Thangone station, at 10:30 a.m. on June 10th, and the situation of the fire damage is unknown,” the Kyunhla Township activist group announced.
“It is difficult to go and check because it is close to the military station. Even the damage in Photkone village has not been counted accurately yet,” he continued.
“On May 20, Photkone village which has around 600 houses in Zikone station of Kanbalu Township, was burned down and destroyed by the military troops, and it is estimated that more than 350 houses were destroyed by fire. It is still difficult to collect an exact count because it is close to the military council’s station,” the Kyunhla Township activist group said.
Tens of thousands of people are fleeing from the war because the military troops are often patrolling Kanbalu district.
