It was learned that the SAC bombed Kyuntaw village in the Maw Tate area, west of Indaw, Sagaing Region at around 10:49 this morning with a jet fighter.
In Indaw, there were fierce battles on May 22nd and 23rd, and it was also investigated that the fighting broke out again this morning.
“The fighting has been going on since around 5:30 in the morning. On May (23rd) there were also many casualties. Two squads were lost.
The SAC bombarded that today because they were hit a lot. ABSDF is leading the battle. It is also Indaw PDF,” an official of Indaw Revolution-IR Local News told MPA.
Currently, the SAC troops are about 170, and it is initially known that 15 have been killed, and the People’s Defense Forces may also be harmed, he continued.
Due to the ongoing fighting in Indaw, there are currently around 70,000 people displaced by war.
“Even though there are needs for people displaced by war, those who are providing assistance are doing their best,” explained an official from Indaw Revolution-IR.
As the SAC is carrying out bombings by aircraft, it has informed the people of the Indaw and Banmauk areas to be careful about their security.
