It was learned from the locals that a local resident was killed and several others were injured when the SAC troops fired a heavy weapon into Pyar Sa Khan village in Ywagyi Village Tract, Than Daung Gyi Township, Karen State.
At around 8:25 PM on April 6th, the SAC troops fired four heavy weapon shells (120 mm Shells) from their 7-mile military camp, assuming that there were PDFs because they heard loudspeakers and music playing at the place where there was a collective wedding in addition to the Passover Festival.
The shooting destroyed a house, injured four people, and killed a 60-year-old grandmother.
The four injured include two children (one male and one female) and two youths (one male and one female). They are receiving emergency medical treatment at the Public Hospital in Taung Ngoo, Bago Region. Among the injured, a local explained to MPA that there are also people in critical condition.
After firing heavy weapons into the Pyar Sa Khan Village, it is known that the SAC camp in Than Daung New Town (13-mile Post) also fired heavy weapons around its town, and the people are now in a state of panic.
