It is reported that 8 people, including 3 children, were injured when the Military troops of the SAC fired heavy weapons in Pulaw Township, Tanintharyi Region.
“At about 10 o’clock this morning, a shell of heavy weapon fired by the SAC Military based in Pulaw Township fell into Wetto village in Pulaw Township,” said a resident of Wetto.
“It fell at 10 o’clock in the morning. It wasn’t just one. The sound was loud. It fell about four times. I started running into the countryside after the first fall. It hit the villagers,” he said.
A Pulaw-based Puriyakha Nyi Nyaung column official told MPA that the military troops of the SAC fired heavy weapons from Tamai Taung village, and 8 villagers including 3 children were injured.
“They shot deliberately from Tamai Mountain. One of the 3 children was seriously injured. The 2 women, 1 young man and 2 adults were hit and injured. They are in the hospital,” he said.
MPA has learned that currently, the military troop of the SAC is not attacking Pulaw-based revolutionary forces, but is arresting innocent civilians, burning rubber forests, and deliberately firing the heavy weapons into the village.
