Min Aung Hlaing’s threat of total destruction has come knocking on the doors of the people of Myanmar.
He wanted to be the leader of the country, with a little bit of intelligence. Not knowing how to manage the country’s economy, which is running to hell, he is still in a frenzy as the leader of the State. Looking back at the current military issues, only during the time of Chief of Defense Min Aung Hlaing, military bases, towns, and cities were lost. Not only did he face fierce opposition from the people in every second, but he was also opposed by members of his military group. However, he was unable to properly think about his own life situation, so he leveled up stupidity and planned to destroy everything by throwing dirt and sand into the meat that he could not eat.
The recent actions have proved that Min Aung Hlaing could destroy the towns occupied by the Arakan Army in Rakhine State with airstrikes and shelling. The destruction of the entire towns and the death and suffering of the people in the towns is a satisfied solution for Min Aung Hlaing. In addition, the distribution of hate placards against the Arakan people in Yangon and Mandalay regarding the defeat of the war in Rakhine State is the hidden fist of the military dictator, who constantly proclaims ethnic unity.
Since Operation 1027, everyone has seen Min Aung Hlaing’s loss. It is normal for an army that has been swimming in a sea of corruption for many years without the support of the people to lose every battle. With many dead soldiers, many deserters, and many defectors, the army has been dwindling away gradually.
Min Aung Hlaing’s last therapy for the dwindling army was the activation of a forced conscription law called the Militia Service Law. To say it another way, it is a despicable act of forcing youths of Myanmar to their deaths with a gun pointed at their chests, wondering if his power would last long.
Forced conscription will begin next April, and it is intended that at least tens of thousands of people will be drafted each year at a rate of 5,000 per batch. Although there is an age limit in the forced conscription law, since before the law came into effect, there have been cases of forced conscripts into the Pyu Saw Htee militia in Kantbalu, Sagaing Region, and some towns in Bago Region, except for the elderly, so it may be considered that Min Aung Hlaing will force everyone to carry a gun to prolong his life, regardless of age.
In addition, after the forced recruitment law was enforced on February 10th, in some cities, such as Monywa, Mandalay, Sagaing, Chaung U, Shwebo, and Myitkyina, the arrest and porter of young travelers and young people walking around within the cities is a warning that anyone will be arrested without reason anywhere.
Min Aung Hlaing wonders whether he will prolong his unjust rule by forcing people to fight back against each other and destroying all the people of Myanmar. We should not underestimate the brutality of Min Aung Hlaing, who dares to do anything, and we should also need to see Min Aung Hlaing’s last breath.
It is true that the Forced Conscription Law has had a great impact on the people of Myanmar, but it is also important to be aware that every last breath is often the best last breath.
We need to do our best to oppose the forced law as individuals and through the collective power of a democratic society. The forced conscription law is Min Aung Hlaing’s last breath as well.
