Words in terms of a political solution came from the bloody mouth of the military leader Min Aung Hlaing, the Senior Prince of Nay Pyi Taw, on December 4th – the day on which 4232 democracy activists and people had already died at the hands of the military junta.
While Min Aung Hlaing’s mouth, which smelled of blood, said that on December 4th, revolutionary forces had already seized more than 250 large and small military camps and some towns in northern Shan. Similarly, on the evening of December 4th, the Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA), the People’s Defense Force (PDF), and the Bamar People’s Liberation Army (BPLA) occupied Mone Town, Kyauk Gyi Township, Bago Region.
Since October 27th, when Operation 1027 began, the Senior Prince, who has been in a dilemma, has been getting to know himself and starting to call for an end to the war. However, he has a conceited disease, so he said by trying to brace himself that in finding a political solution – the three principles (known as the three main national causes) must not be touched, and the Constitution will not be abandoned.
The military junta asked their lackeys to make unreasonable accusations and demonstrations; the Government of China is waging a war of aggression against them based on the Three Brotherhood Alliance and supporting arms to the Brotherhood Alliance and PDFs. And now they had gone to Beijing, in front of the government of China, and beseeched in tears again.
Foreign Minister Than Swe, appointed by Min Aung Hlaing, met Chinese Minister of Foreign Affairs Wang Yi in Beijing on December 6 and said that he hopes to continue receiving support and assistance from China for peace and stability in the country.
If Than Swe’s speech is stripped of its diplomatic ornamentation, it would be to support them and coordinate to stop Operation 1027. In other words, Min Aung Hlaing, who can’t see his own losses, thought losing camps and towns all over Shan North due to the Government of China, then he was most unruly and then apologized with tears. Therefore, it is obvious that Nay Pyi Taw’s Senior Prince is in a frenzy.
Since the 1027 campaign, there have been many dead soldiers, surrendered and captured soldiers, and thousands of soldiers who have joined the people’s embrace. There are lots of battles in the North Shan, Kach in, Chin, Rakhine, Karenni, and Karen. Due to such factors, the need for soldiers to die again for the stupidity of the generals is so high that the soldiers who are in prison are no longer calm in prison. Letting them go back to the war in a mandatory situation after being released is just a straw for the generals, who have lost on every front.
For generals, the need for soldiers is high; similarly, the demand for dollars is also huge. Soon after the failed coup, foreign currency inflows are dwindling – due to foreign investment with no inflows but outflows, political instability and its subsequent fall in exports, the sanctions imposed by the United States and the Western bloc, the latest border trade freeze. The high purchase of weapons for war made the Senior Prince of Nay Pyi Taw suffered. It is really hard for him to think about tomorrow after many sleepless nights.
Hell is raising up in Nay Pyi Taw. The generals, with their heads on fire, are searching for an antidote that has no answer. The Senior Prince of Nay Pyi Taw, who stubbornly wants to sit on the throne that the people will not offer him, has begun to compose a funeral song with tears of loss.
