PDFs abandoned SNA Gate Camp seized in Homalin township in upper Sagaing Region, due to the junta’s offensive with superior forces, according to a report.
PDF joint forces seized Shanni Nationalities Army’s Gate-Camp under the junta in Farnai village in Homalin township on the morning of November 9. After that, they abandoned the gate-camp due to the junta’s offensive with superior forces, according to Homalin People’s Defense Force – HPDF.
We could seize Farnai Gate on the morning of November 9. While we were seizing weapons and ammunition, the junta troops relaunched offensive with superior force through Tharkhawngaw village, so the battle took place. They left nothing both dead bodies and guns, according to Comrade Shan Gyi, the deputy battalion commander of Khanti District’s Battalion 2.
Khanti District’s Battalion 2- Division (1), Khanti District’s Battalion 1 and alliances attacked Farnai Gate Point (46 RFN 954724268) _ where the military junta and SNA were stationed at 6:50 a.m. on November 9.
The SNA troops, junta soldiers and junta militias jointly launched offensive attack Farnai Gate-Camp with more than 150 forces at around 1:00 p.m., so the PDFs and alliances retreated to Sansai village, according to the report.

During the fighting, the junta troops from Htonemarthae village fired 60 (mm) heavy weapons, according to the report.
Comrade Paquio from Khanti District Battalion 1 was killed, two comrades _ from Khanti District Battalion 2 and HPDF-124 _ were wounded in the arm, and at least 10 soldiers were injured in the battle.
Khanti District Battalion No.1 and No. 2, HPDF-124 and Moe Kyoe- People’s Defense Force jointly attacked the battle.
The fighting still didn’t take place as of 8:20 a.m. this morning _ but the fighting ceased fire from a place about 1 mile away.
