The People’s Administrative Team of Yesagyo Township (Pa-Ah-Hpa) has issued a statement that if all non-CDM employees do not surrender within the specified period, actions will be taken.
The Pa-Ah-Hpa of Yesagyo Township have warned in the statement that non-CDMs should surrender by 11:00 a.m. on March 31, and those who do not surrender should leave outside of Yesagyo Township from various villages in Yesagyo Township.
“Non-CDMs who do not surrender are not allowed to live until the uprising (Spring Revolution) is over, and they are deported. After we announced, there are some people who have contacted us,” said Lwin Myint Oo, the leader of the People’s Administrative Team of Yesagyo Township.
It is reported that the Township People’s Defense Force (Pa-Ka-Hpa) and the Township People’s Security Team (Pa-La-Hpa) have been commanded to arrest and interrogate the non-CDM employees who do not surrender and do not leave the township – considered as those related to the junta.
“We will not take action against non-CDMs. Actions will be taken against those who do not change non-CDMs to CDMs and do not cooperate with the people,” said Comrade Wai Gyi, the officer in charge of the Pa-Ka-Hpa of Yesaagyo Township.
There were 589 non-CDM employees who joined the non-CDM management committee, the People’s Administrative Team of Yesagyo Township, until 12:00 p.m. on February 15th.
“We have formed a committee regarding this issue. We will do as instructed. In this committee, we have also assigned a CDM policeman who is a comrade from Pa-La-Hpa,” said Comra Rahul, deputy in charge of Pa-La-Hpa, Yesagyo Township.
The People’s Administrative Team of Yesagyo Township has started taking action against non-CDM civil servants, according to the instructions of the Interim Local Public Administration Development Central Committee, the National Unity Government (NUG).
