The junta reportedly closed Budalin Public Hospital on the morning of November 19 as the fifteen-health staff _ including the hospital director _ joined CDM in Budalin town of Sagaing Region.
“All of the hospital director and health staff joined CDM, and they all returned on the morning of November 19. I heard that PDF informed the hospital director on the phone to join CDM,” a Budalin local said.
Two heavy weapons exploded inside the courtyard of Budalin Public Hospital on the evening of November 18. After that, the health staff joined CDM and left the hospital.
“PDFs raided the fire office and took the fire trucks and staff before. Now, the hospital has been closed. A total of four have been closed. Since the city-capture battles are strong, they will not dare to continue,” said a CDM staff from Budalin Township.
People’s Defense Forces reportedly raided the fire department and a total of 20 staff and their family members including the chief officer _ were arrested and transported to the liberated area according to their consent.
The junta has currently closed the departments _ Public Hospital, Immigration Department, Myanmar Economic Bank, and Fire Department in Budalin township because the departmental staff joined CDM and fled.
Budalin is only about 20 miles away from the Northwest Regional Military Headquarters. The military junta is reportedly inspecting and arresting people and burning down houses in the villages of Budalin Township _ which are bordering the Northwest Military Headquarters.
