It is reported that the soldiers burned down the house of a supporter of the army in Seikphyu Township, Magway Region.
On April 4th, at around 10:00 am, about 40 soldiers of the SAC arrived in the Kyitpyin village, which has around 300 houses, in civilian clothes, and burned down the house of Ko Aung Thu and Ma Lei who are the pro-military people, according to residents.
“When they came to our village, this time there was no shooting. They came from the Kazon Ywama. That village is a military base. They crossed the Nyaung Ni and entered from the Kone Ywa Kyaung road. The whole village ran. Only the elderly who could not run stayed in the village monastery. When the column came, they ran. When the column left, they stayed back. The soldiers took everything they could find. They even took bamboo hats,” said a local.
It is reported that the SAC troops looted the public property from Kyitpyin village and left the Pathein-Monywa road towards Kazonma village.
“When we returned to the village, one house was burned down. That house was the house of a couple who supported the Military. It must have been a mistake. The couple did not live there either. They have been on the run for a long time. That house was built not long ago. They don’t live with their parents. It is the first house. The Military that they supported burned their house. I want that couple sees it. I want to ask them. Now do they sympathize with us?”, he said.
In Seikphyu Township, the Air Defense Training School-3036 and the Weapons Factory (Ka-Pa-Sa)-28 were divided into two columns and they are marching to attack in civilian clothes. On April 2nd, three soldiers were killed and seven were injured due to mistaken firing among themselves.
