In Myaing Township, Magway Region, three military columns marched to attack between April 6th and 9th, causing ten thousand people displaced by the war have risen up.
Comrade Yan Naung from the Pakokku Special Task Force told MPA, “The SAC troops spread out three columns and marched to attack in Wet Kya Village, Thanpuyarchan Village, Hpaung Kwe Village, and Nyaungoke Village, and people in nearby villages are avoiding them.”
It is also learned that five drones were lost when the People’s Defense Forces attacked the marching SAC troops with drones.
“Now we have to run going in and out of one village to another. If they entered to attack this village, we avoid another village. The villages have to take responsibility for feeding the people fleeing the war. There are no other difficulties yet,” Comrade Yan Naung continued to explain.
He also said that two villages, Aingma Village and Nyaugoke Village, were set fire and three locals and one PDF comrade were killed.
“The bodies have not been found yet, so we cannot confirm the death of the three people. It is almost 90 percent certain that one comrade fell. The body has been found. We have not seen the face yet, so we cannot confirm it for sure,” Comrade Yan Naung continued.
The MPA has learned that the three columns included the one that was attacked by the SAC with a Mi35 helicopter on April 6 and the SAC troops who were dropped on the ground.
