A police official said that during this month, there are at least 3 arrests suing by crimes related to political affairs per day in Yangon.
It is known that “those arrested are the people who are up to the level of supporting and assisting under the section of the Counter-Terrorism Law”.
“There have been at least three arrests a day within this month. Protesters, those who participated in the bombings, and those who supported them have been arrested,” he said.
It is known that the people who were arrested the most were the people who posted NUG posts on their mobile phones. He was reportedly arrested because of a social media post and photo that condemned the SAC Military.
“They checked phone calls casually. They also checked the guest-list. If they arrest those people, they take from 100,000 to 500,000 based on their situation. Only the soldiers get it. The police only have money to eat and drink,” said by the above police officer.
The three major revolutionary forces fighting as urban guerrillas in Yangon told MPA that none of their members had been arrested within this month.
