The deadly drone strikes by PDF youths have proven that Min Aung Hlaing and his generals, who think they would be safe to live in Nay Pyi Taw’s bulletproof glass room with high-level security, could be taken to death.
The kamikaze drone operation started on April 4. The Nay Pyi Taw Military Headquarters and Aye Lar Air Force were attacked with deadly drones, which were protected by high-level jumper machines and security forces not to penetrate even a fly or a mosquito. The deadly drone attack took a time of 5 months to prepare to attack Nay Pyi Taw. According to the NUG’s Ministry of Defense, 35 drones were launched to attack the targets in Nay Pyi Taw, and 29 drones reached the targets.
The NUG Defense Minister U Yee Mon said, “This is the first experience of long-range drones. The explosive power of a drone is 20% stronger than that of a 107-weapon, and the depth penetration is also better. Every target can be registered.”
The Nay Pyi Taw military headquarters is not only a place where even generals are not given favors and must go in and out submissively but also a place where Min Aung Hlaing and his assistants sit in their office and draw up plans to destroy the country. This drone attack is the biggest airstrike threat to Nay Pyi Taw in more than 3 years since the failed coup. The National Unity Government (NUG) stated that there was a fire explosion at Aye Lar Airport and the military headquarters was also affected due to this drone attack.
Myanmar’s military spokesman General Zaw Min Tun replied as usual, “It did no harm at all.”
It is not easy to confirm the details of the damage situation, but PDF drones were certainly able to come in a swarm to the center of power in Nay Pyi Taw, where security measures have been placed strongly. Therefore, being able to fight like this made all the people raise their fists, proud and encouraged.
In addition, the international press broadly released the drone attack on the center of Nay Pyi Taw’s power by the People’s Defense Army not being even 3 years old.
Myanmar’s military spokesman General Zaw Min Tun replied in a bluff saying that PDF’s drone technology is only for fun. If it’s just for fun, these dead drones can’t fly long distances. Those drones may be launched only around Nay Pyi Taw. If they are launched only around Nay Pyi Taw, it is not difficult to generally verify where the drone was launched even if the PDF drone forces were not arrested. But now he can’t even say from where dead drones were launched.
In addition, it seems that Min Aung Hlaing is shocked and afraid of even the entertainment-level drone technology said by his junta. It was reported that Min Aung Hlaing would attend the funeral of the monk of Tachilek Two Dragons held on April 6, but he returned the same day without attending the funeral even though he arrived in Tachilek town. It is Min Aung Hlaing’s breathing disorder because of being afraid of the PDF’s drone attack.
Moreover, according to the report of the Myanmar Now Press, Min Aung Hlaing did not attend some of the current meetings scheduled and plans to attend the Thingyan festival inside Nay Pyi Taw’s Army were also canceled, as well as Nay Pyi Taw is preparing to upgrade its air defense.
Min Aung Hlaing and a handful of generals were very shocked and afraid of death due to the deadly drone strikes that came directly to Nay Pyi Taw. They are more afraid of death because they are killing people, including not newborn children but the elderly, every day with bloodshed.
The kamikaze operation of April 4 warned that PDFs’ deadly drone strikes could follow after the military generals went away, just as General Qassem Soleimani, the head of Iran’s Quds Force, was killed by the US air raid at Baghdad’s international airport in January 2020.
An alarm bell rang in the heads of the Nay Pyi Taw’s Generals. The deadly drones are already hunting for the lives of the Nay Pyi Taw’s Generals.
