It was known that two SAC planes bombed Naung Kan village in Sagaing Region on May 25 at 9:20 p.m., killing two people.
“They bombed at night. There was no fighting, so people just slept in their houses,” Banmauk Revolution (BR) told MPA.
As a result of the air attack, six houses in Naung Kan village were destroyed and a 66-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman were killed.
“They died on the spot. It is known that bombs fell straight down upon them,” BR Team continued.
It was learned that the SAC carried out the air strike for no reason without fighting in the vicinity of Naung Kan village.
“Even if it’s wrong with Kyaung Lel Village, it has nothing to do with Naung Kan Village. It’s too far. They did it intentionally,” a local told MPA.
It has been reported that there have been skirmishes between the SAC troops and the local defense forces since May 20th in the vicinity of the Kyaung Lel village in Banmauk Township.
