The Ministry of Defense under the National Unity Government announced that 115 PDF soldiers from three regions have successfully completed the commander training course.
Trainees from the Sagaing, Magway, and Mandalay Regions attended the commander training graduation ceremony on Saturday in an area controlled by the NUG, according to a statement released on Thursday.
“This course is designed for PDF battalion commanders. It covers their responsibilities, the rules they must follow, and, most importantly, military planning,” a PDF battalion commander from the Sagaing Region told MPA.
He added that this was the third batch of trainees, with each training session lasting three months.
During the ceremony, NUG Defense Minister U Yee Mon sent a congratulatory message to the graduates.
