Local resistance forces launched 107mm short-range missiles at No. 21 Defense Industry (Ka Pa Sa 21) in Seikphyu Township, Magway Region, striking a key military facility of the junta.
The Brave Warriors for Myanmar (BWM) announced on Sunday afternoon that they launched the attacks.
“Our primary targets were the production facilities within the factory,” a BWM official told MPA.
He added, “Following the attack, the factory responded with heavy artillery fire, launching an overwhelming number of rounds, making it impossible to count.”
The attack reportedly caused significant damage to the interior of the facility, though investigations are ongoing to assess the full extent of the destruction, according to the BWM.
Ka Pa Sa 21 is known for producing aerial bombs used by fighter jets, including 250-pound bombs, 500-pound bombs, and cluster bombs.
The operation was led by the BWM in collaboration with the Eagle Brigade (Anyar Eagles), No More Dictatorship (NMD), Shadow (Mandalay), and other local revolutionary forces.
