- 5,073 million kyats for internally displaced persons (IDPs) and those fleeing conflict.
- 30 million kyats for pre-arranged food supplies for the people.
- 80.3 million kyats for emergency humanitarian assistance for Anti-Regime Civil Disobedience Movement (CDM) staff.
- 46 million kyats for political prisoners and their families.
- 445 million kyats for the families of fallen heroes and those injured in direct confrontations.
- 1,295 million kyats for victims of natural disasters.
- 4.5 million kyats for vulnerable people and their families.
- 691 million kyats for general humanitarian assistance.
These allocations were made between Jan. 1 and Dec.31, 2024.
A Yangon-based political columnist told MPA, “The people understand clearly that they must rely on themselves. I believe contributions from the diaspora community will grow even stronger. In the Spring Revolution, those who can fight join the armed struggle. For those who cannot fight, their duty is to support the cause. This is a responsibility every citizen must embrace.”
The National Unity Government (NUG) expressed profound respect and admiration for the unwavering efforts and resilience of individuals who have consistently supported the revolution over the past four years, despite immense challenges.
Acknowledging the people’s determination and enduring spirit, the NUG called for continued unity and resolve to fully dismantle the military dictatorship and achieve a decisive victory.
