It is reported that forces of the State Administration Council (SAC) Army stationed at the police outpost in a factory in Kamma City, Pakokku Township, Magway Region, abandoned their post after four consecutive days of bombings by the People’s Defense Force (PDF).
The Allied Resistance Forces of Kamma announced that starting from 31 August, they carried out drone bombings on the factory police outpost, which housed 30 personnel of soldiers and police that covered the Kamma Myoma police station, for four consecutive days. SAC troops abandoned the outpost around 2:00 AM on 4 September.
“We bombed the outpost using eight drones, dropping over a hundred bombs. The outpost is only 800 meters from the police station. It covers the Kamma Myoma police station and the southern areas of the city,” a spokesperson for the Allied Resistance Forces of Kamma told MPA.
He stated that SAC troops from the outpost retreated to the SAC Army base in Kantawyan Village, located between Pakokku and Kamma cities.
“There is an outpost in the monastery there. The troops fell back to that location. There may have been some casualties during the attack, but we do not have exact details yet,” he continued.
After the SAC troops abandoned the outpost, allied PDF forces entered the site to secure the perimeter, but found nothing of significance. The outpost has since been destroyed using bulldozers.
The drone attack was conducted by the drone forces of the Allied Kamma Resistance Forces, People’s Defense Team-Mying Township (Pa Ka Pha – Mying), People’s Defense Team-Pauk Township (Pa Ka Pha – Pauk), Magway Region Drone Team, and Allied Resistance Forces.
