It is reported that over 10,000 residents from the North Eastern Areas of Khin Oo Township are fleeing their homes due to fears of airstrikes and raids by the State Administration Council (SAC) Army.
Following attacks by allied People’s Defense Forces (PDF) on the Madaunghla Pyu Saw Htee Militia Village, more than 10,000 civilians from 10 villages are fleeing in response to the advancing column of SAC forces and airstrikes on nearby villages of Pyu Saw Htee village.
“The column consisted of 170 personnel. Residents of some villages fled long ago due to the fear of aerial threats. There were casualties due to airstrikes. Now that column has torched villages, but I don’t know the exact numbers,” a Resistance Force soldier based in Khin Oo township told MPA.
It is reported that this column torched Ngagying Village on 2 September, and today they set fire to the villages of Ingyinpin, Sawgyi, Thanet Sein, and Phankeer.
The column reportedly returned to Madaunghla Village around 4:00 PM today.
The Khin Oo Truth News Information Network reported that during SAC airstrikes on villages in eastern Khin Oo Township during 19-29 August, one civilian was killed, and 14 others were injured.
