The State Administration Council (SAC) Army bombed a monastery in Myinni village, Natogyi township, Mandalay region, and an injured war refugee child got her legs amputated.
According to the local Spring Revolution Journal called Natogyi Journal, around 1:30 PM on 27 August, the SAC Army bombed Myinni village monastery where war refugees live, without any reason causing a 7 years old refugee girl to imputation her both legs and a woman to injuries by explosion of dropped bomb.
“They hovered five times and dropped 2 bombs. All the victims are girls. A 7-years-old child got both legs amputated since her legs’ skin were torn apart and the bones could be seen. All the other people just got minor injuries,” the in charge of Natogyi Journal told MPA.
The monastery was also destroyed due to the attack.
Also on 14 August, a pagoda and nearby houses were destroyed due to the artillery shell fired from Myingyan city.
