Blood Money Campaign urged that Resistance Forces have already captured nearly 80 cities during over 1300 days of revolution, and they wanted the people to be more united and resilient.
It was mentioned in a message given by the Blood Money Campaign to the people on August 23, the 1,300th day of the Military’s illegal attempt to seize power.
“Capturing nearly 80 cities is all the efforts by ourselves without the help of the international community. As to say, those captures of cities were only capable due to the logistics and support of the people. People of Myanmar are still supporting while they resist the murders and oppressions of the Military by any means,” a political columnist based in Yangon told MPA.
It is mentioned in the message that the revolution against military dictatorship started in February 2021 with Civil Disobedience Movement (CDM) according to slogans such as “To eradicate Military Dictatorship”, “To achieve Democracy”, “To form Federal Democratic Nation” and “Getting out by refusing to go to the offices” have evolved into the armed revolution of the people that capable to capture cities one after another and the revolution is getting close to its goals due to the supports and involvements of resistance forces who fought for 1,300 days, CDMers, people who were sent to jail for participating the revolution, heroes who were civilians, youths, students and farmers sacrificed their lives for the revolution, those who are supporting resistance forces even though they can’t join CDM movement for various reasons, people from domestic and foreign among various difficulties, donors and unity.
“The most important thing for steps of the revolution is the mentality of relying on ourselves. That’s why we, the people, need to hold that mentality tidily,” the political columnist continued.
The Blood Money Campaign also claimed that they salute those who lost their lives, bodies, and homes and those who were wounded physically and mentally during the 1,300 days of revolution and they will continue to get justice for each one of the heroes.
