It is said that after the capture of Tabayin City by Resistance Forces, the State Administration Council’s (SAC) army launched 4 airstrikes on Tabayin City and placed their troops by MI-17 helicopter.
According to People Defense Team- Ye-U (Pa Ka Pha – Ye-U), SAC’s army launched airstrikes with an MI-35 helicopter on Tabayin city at around 12:30 PM as well as placed their troops with Mi-17 helicopter around Aung Chan Tha village near Tabayin city.
“They bombed the city. At the same time, they placed their troops around Aung Chan Tha village. We still don’t know the exact number,” in charge of Pa Ka Pha – Ye-U told MPA.
It is said that starting from 15 August, a column of SAC’s army marching from Ye-U city to Tabayin city fell back to Ye-U city and SAC’s soldiers who ran away from Tabayin city also fell back with this column.
People Defense Team-Sagaing region (Pa Ka Pha- Sagaing region) announced that in the battle capturing Tabayi city, 2 Pyu Saw Htee militia surrendered as well as detained 40 non-CDM officials along with their over 80 family members and provided them with required health care.
