In Namhsan, Shan State, the military junta conducted an aerial attack using a jet fighter around midnight today, according to a TNLA report.
Around 1 AM on August 16, a military jet fighter overflew Namhsan and bombed the town with no reported civilian casualties.
Likewise, on the night of August 12, a military fighter jet bombed downtown Namhsan three times, resulting in the death of a resident and injuries to another.
On August 6, Kutkai, a town controlled by TNLA, was bombed by the junta air force during which six residents were killed, ten others were injured and 400 houses and shops were burned down.
TNLA administration has been operating in Namhsan, a town that TNLA took over in the first phase of Operation 1027.
