Reports indicate that in Hsipaw, Shan State, the junta air force dropped over 100 bombs during the battles.
On August 14 (today), battles continued near No 23 Infantry Battalion, stationed in Hsipaw, which further ensued the military to drop a total of 124 bombs including four aerial strikes using jet fighters and 16 times using Y-12 aircrafts, according to TNLA’s report.
Additionally, Junta’s Y-12 aircraft dropped four bombs at one time during the battles that occurred in Nawnghkio Township.
It is reported that clashes between TNLA and junta troops continued between Taunghkam and Naunglin Villages in Nawnghkio Township.
