The State Administration Council (SAC)’s army launched more than 15 airstrikes on villages located in northern Myaing township, Magway region even though there was no battle.
According to Black Cobra Force, on 5 and 6 August, SAC’s army launched not less than 15 airstrikes with Mi-35, bombing with fighter jets and dropping cluster-bombs with Y-12 aircraft .
“They just came and struck. There wasn’t any battle. Nobody got hurt,” comrade La Yaung from Black Cobra Force told MPA.
Around 4:30 PM, 4 August, Resistance Forces attacked 2 vehicles of 70 military personnel that came from no.101 Light Infantry Regiment in Pakokku city with Ohkan mine and 11 soldiers died as well as 22 injured. After that attack, SAC’s army launched airstrikes.
“We used only one mine. That Ohkan mine costs nearly 130,000,000 Myanmar Kyat (MMK). Car got destroyed. They (SAC’s army) came back and took it,” he continued.
Right after that attack, those 2 SAC’s vehicles fell back into the Pakokku city and resistance forces captured one magazine of Carbine guns, 16 Carbine bullets, two MG-1 hand grenades, four G-3 bullets, seven 5.56 bullets, one equipment and one adjustable wrench while they cleared that attacked area.
That attack was operated by the Black Cobra Force, Myain People Defense Team (Pa Ka Pha) and PKU Thurain and their soldiers managed to fall back without any casualties.
MPA can’t provide any other confirmation about the death and injuries of SAC’s army personnel.
